More About Temporary Disability

When you are struggling financially due to a work injury or condition, Thomas F Martin can make sure the claims adjuster is paying you what is owed under California law.

You may be owed up to 2 years of temporary disability benefits (TTD) to replace wages that you are losing while you recover from your injuries. In rare cases, benefits for even longer periods may be owed.

If you or someone you care about has suffered a work injury, temporary disability benefits (TTD) may be owed to replace wages that will be lost. You may be eligible for up to 104 weeks of TTD for the work injury you have experienced, and in rare cases benefits for even longer periods may be owed by the insurance company to help you with all of life’s expenses.

Workplace injuries often include, but are not limited to:

  • Back injury
  • Neck injury
  • Head or traumatic brain injury
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Emotional/Psychological injury
  • Amputation

If you believe you are entitled to temporary disability benefits, but are not receiving them, we are here to help you learn your rights, and determine your eligibility based on the severity of your injury and your ability to return to work.
